The Colosseum is an elliptical amphitheatre in the centre of the city of Rome, Italy, just east of the Roman Forum. It is the largest ancient amphitheatre ever built, and is still the largest standing amphitheatre in the world, despite its age. Construction began under the Emperor in 72 and was completed in AD 80 under his successor and Further modifications were made during the reign of Domitian.

The Palatine Hill which relative to the seven hills of Rome is the centremost,it is one of the most ancient parts of the city; it has been called “the first nucleus of the Roman Empire. The site is now mainly a large open-air museum whilst the Palatine museum houses many finds from the excavations here and from other ancient Italian sites.

The Roman Forum, also known by its latin name Forum Romanum , is a rectangular fourm surrounded by the ruins of several important ancient government buildings at the centre of the city of Rome. Citizens of the ancient city referred to this space, originally a marketplace, as the Forum Magnum, or simply the Forum.

The entry to the Colosseum is totally free for the disabled visitor and one companion.Please do not buy the for Disabled visitor and one companion.(the person will need to prove their disability when they get there)
Names are mandatory for Colosseum bookings. Double-check the names at checkout for a hassle-free entry. Please be sure to bring your valid photo id with you to gain entry.
While your visiting the palatine hill , look out for the Farnese Gardens, A peaceful escape from the crowds.Beautiful manicured teeeaces, statues and panoramic views of the Roman Forum.
Please note that the timed priority entry is only for the colosseum and you entry for the Roman forum and palatine hill will remain valid for a additional 24 hours after the colosseum entry time.
There are 2 entrances : One for the colosseum and another for the Roman forum & Palatine hill (combiled). You can enter each entrance ONLY ONCE (no re-entry)
With this ticket you will skip the long line to buy the tickets But not the security check . The security check can take 20min or more. To make the process quicker insert any object ( even your mobile phone ) in the bag/backpack or in the tray to be included in the x-ray.

Please be present at the colosseum gate at least 15min before of your entry time. You can use the public transportation to go to the colosseum too. The easyest way is the metro : Metro: B Stop name: COLOSSEO Ticket price: € 1.50 ( 100 min public transportation ticket, mostly found in BAR, tabacchi Stores. You can also pay with your debit or credit cards)
